My mom has been wanting to piece the Dear Jane quilt for a long time now, but she hasn't had the time to do it. I told her that I would help her and we could split the blocks...It could end up being a 95% to 5% split, but divided up nonetheless. Hah.
Since this really is going to be mom's quilt when all is said and done, she is choosing all of the fabrics. She chose some really bright tie-dye batiks that look pretty great against the solid white backgrounds. I've sewn 12 of the blocks so far, and I am picking and choosing my favorites first. It is a fun challenge! Hopefully all of the blocks will be pieced in 2012. We'll have to see how that goes...
